AIMS Integration with Team Center Visualization Quality Developed

Asker, Norway, December 16, 2008 - Geometric Solutions LLC, a Siemens Certified PLM Solutions Partner has developed an AIMS-integrated Vis Quality solution. 

Team Center Visualization Quality is a tool from Siemens PLM used to graphically display, analyze and communicate production measurement data in a high-end visualization environment.  This integration will allow users to visualize, right from the user’s desktop, all AIMS measurement data.  “We are very excited to offer our current customers and other users of Vis Quality this integrated solution” said Bryan Novach, Vice President of Geometric Solutions.  He added, “Users from across the enterprise can view AIMS quality data from the supply chain to assess current capability.” 

The AIMS software suite developed by The Boeing Company and licensed through Metronor, comprises the software components for defining inspection, measuring the quality of manufactured parts per defined requirements, and improving dimensional management and supplier process capability.  “AIMS is becoming a standard format for dimensional management”, stated Troy Niehaus, Vice President of Metronor responsible for the AIMS Business Unit.   “This new integration with Vis Quality opens the door for even more manufacturers seeking to monitor key quality characteristics across the enterprise”.
